At First Republic, Media Well Done is viewed as a critical outside creative agency. (Seriously, ask them.)
What does this mean? Over a period of five years, we’ve developed a unique partnership that transcends the average client/agency relationship to inform a higher level of creative output and increase efficiencies.
When First Republic decided to revamp their brand, Media Well Done was tasked with handling all development for the website, which housed all of the brand guidelines and assets. We also supported numerous other aspects such as color testing for print, user interface for reviewing illustrations and preparation of final assets for logos, icons and illustrations.
We are proud to say that the project went on to win several awards, including a prestigious awwwards.com honor that recognizes the best developers, designers and web agencies in the world.
First Republic was very active on social media and Media Well Done collaborated on dozens, if not hundreds, of campaigns with copywriting, design and animation. We also provided expert retouching on many of their client testimonial photos.
Animated display ads are a specialty of ours. Here are a few examples, including a particularly tricky design featuring a variable-speed stock ticker with a rapid countdown to an interest rate.
As a multi-talented agency, we naturally excel at multi-channel projects. Being experts in the First Republic Brand helps a lot, too. When the bank wanted to open a new PBO (Preferred Banking Office), we were always there to help with landing pages, digital advertising, social media and a variety of direct mail pieces. Our collective expertise encompasses copywriting, design, development, animations, you name it. We’ve even been tapped to create custom maps and line art to enhance designs.
We loved working on this Pride project and are proud to have it in our portfolio. Leveraging a Dave Cutler illustration, created specifically for First Republic, we shifted between rainbow colors to grab attention and share a powerful message during Pride Month.
Sometimes the best way to face serious work is to just have fun. For this project, First Republic wanted to do just that by creating a game for clients to identify and analyze their financial goals. And we had a blast helping them bring their vision to life with just about everything — art direction, copywriting, package design, printing, even fulfillment and shipping.
